Snake Carving

The snake archetype is an ancient symbol commonly used for rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing. These carvings can be placed on your altar as a representation to your intention, or simply as a piece of cool decor! Carry the small snakes in your pocket or talisman pouch to cary with you.

LABRADORITE

Labradorite is a fascinating stone because of what is known as the schiller (German, for "twinkle") effect: the metallic iridescence that occurs when light reflects between two layers of a mineral at an angle. Also referred to as adularescence or labradorescence, this effect is found also in moonstone, opal, and sapphire.

These gorgeous crystal balls are essential for any collector, and can be used in various ways for meditating, such as scrying, and look beautiful on display next to a candle or other crystals. Each will have wonderful inclusions, cracks, and other characteristics that make each unique and special. Origin: Labrador, Canada but is now found in Madagascar, Australia, the Ukraine, Norway, Finland, Sicily.

Variety: Feldspar

Mohs Hardness: 6 - 6.5

Physical Healing Properties: Amplifies the effects of healing- physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Magic + Metaphysics: Aids in communication with spirits and the higher self, heightens the effects of prayers and meditations, and is used in ritual magic for psychic protection, among many other things.

Specs: Each is hand selected and will have varrying degrees and colors of flash. Each small labradorite snake measures 2" long x 1" wide and weighs about 26-36 grams.

Care: Clean in warm sea-salted water, and charge in a bowl of quartz or in the sun.

OBSIDIAN

Obsidian is a dark, mysterious stone that is formed by rapidly cooling volcanic lava. It gets it's black color from it's high iron content, and it's structure is closer related to glass than a mineral or crystal. These pyramids are perfect for the center of your altar or crystal grid, and can be used for protections and will aid in clairvoyance. Some specimens may show a dark silver glittery iridescence in the sunlight.

Origin: Obsidian can be found in almost every part of the world, including the Americas, Easters and Northern Europe, Asia and Russia.

Mohs Hardness: 5- 5.5

Element: Earth

Magic + Metaphysics + Healing: This stone is essential for grounding and protection. It helps reveal hidden issues and emotions, and because of this is also excellent for cleansing. Obsidian is also great for spirit communication, making it ideal for scrying and enhancing clairvoyance. May aid with digestion and issues with the digestion system.

Specs:  Each will have its own variation of shimmer and sheen. The large snake is approximately 4.5" long x 1.5" wide and 68 grams.

Care: To cleanse, let the piece sit in a warm salt water bath. To charge it, let it dry in direct sunlight.
