Welcome to May: Taurus AND eclipse season... This month has big, helpful energy coming in by way of a Jupiter/Pluto sextile on the 3rd, a beautiful transit for positive changes and transformation. We also have a slowing, stabilizing ribbon of energy for most of the month, as we are in Taurus season, plus a stellium in Taurus through the first half of the month (North Node, Uranus, Sun, Pallas Athena, and the moon on the 1st). There is also a stellium in Pisces...

What more could you ask for this holiday season? This is an incredibly joyous New Moon, Partial Solar Eclipse in Capricorn. This particular Eclipse is another in a series of eclipses that have been taking place since January of 2019, nearly one year ago. Think back to what may have developed since then. As with all eclipses, this represents a cosmic portal in time where some things come, and others go. It's important to be exceptionally patient, and in this one's case, optimistic. It doesn't quite have the doom and gloom feeling that some astrologers attach to eclipses...

This is the kick off of one of the most important months of 2019. New Moons are always a new opportunity. A total new moon solar eclipse packs a major punch holding space for future endeavors, in the terms of Cancer-related themes. In recent days Mercury has moved into the shadow period of Cancer and into Leo. Along with Mars, it appears many of you have had some sort of sudden realization. It’s as if there is this sudden burst of energy to care or nurture something. For some of you, this is moving, finding a place that feels more like home. Granted, it may be happening because you HAD to move, or a roommate left, or a spouse got offered a job in another city. The point is, this is all happening for a reason. There is a method to the eclipse madness; to help you...

The lunar eclipse/super moon/full moon in Leo (phew, that is a lot of descriptors!) on January 20 PT and January 21 ET continues the accelerated astrological energies of 2019. This second eclipse in the series from the solar eclipse on January 5, will be visible from North and South America, Europe, and Western Africa. Though Earth casts its shadow on the moon for several hours, the maximum eclipse hour is 9:12 p.m. on Saturday for Pacific Coast and 12:12 a.m. for East Coast. The moon is “super” because it is closest to the Earth and looks magnified or larger than usual. Like all signs, Leo has both its shadow (insert eclipse joke here) and elevated expressions, though with a full moon and eclipse we often tap into the...

This powerful partial eclipse and new moon in Cancer begins the next lunar cycle and prepares us for a full moon lunar eclipse later this month. Cancer energies connect us to our family, home, emotions, and needs. It asks us to pay more attention to our intuition as well as our conditioned feelings and receptivity. Though the detrimental side of Cancer may be overly protective or giving in hopes of getting its needs met in return. Perhaps the most important aspect of this new moon is the exact opposition to Pluto in Capricorn. This primordial planetary energy evokes upheaval for the purpose of regeneration and rebirth. It often asks us to dig deeper into...
