Maximum Abundance & Accelerated Manifestation with 8/8 The Lion's Gate Portal

The Lion’s Gate portal takes place on August 8th when our sun aligns with the brightest star in our sky, Sirius, a fixed star in the constellation Canis Minor. Sirius is also called the “Dog Star.”

Doing work—be it ritual, meditation, journaling—with the intention to align your energy with this open portal’s vibration will speed up and expand the energy and intentions you are putting out. This is a big “leveling up” shift with a sort of a pulsing, electrical feel to it.

Using a green, gold, or yellow candle, carve two “8”s on your candle and acknowledge Sirius in your petition when you state your intentions. For example: “May the power of Sirius and the Lion’s Gate portal accelerate my intentions with extra luck and abundance!”

8/8: Eights represent infinity, flow, prosperity, and spirituality. With two eights, we can think of it like an “as above, so below” flow cycling up and down and back up to the heavens, in a stream of elevated consciousness and wisdom. This energetic flow is fueled by the fire of the Leo lion sun, the Dog Star Sirius.

The sigil represents the star Sirius. You can use this sigil on your altar to get maximum dual star energy and the intuitive magick energy of the moon in your ritual!

May you walk through the Lion’s Gate with fire wings carrying you through your divine transformation and into abundance, my friends!

As we navigate the celestial currents of 2025, a unique astrological event awaits: both Venus and Mercury will be retrograde simultaneously. Venus will transition from Aries to Pisces during its retrograde, while Mercury will retrograde in Aries. This rare cosmic alignment offers a profound opportunity for introspection, reassessment, and personal growth. When these two influential planets appear to move backward in the sky, their retrograde energies prompt us to slow down and reevaluate critical aspects of our lives. While the experience may seem challenging, it ultimately serves as a chance to heal, reset, and reconnect with our true desires and intentions.
