Analysis:
Caution ahead with this Full Moon: anything and everything that has been swept under the rug in recent weeks is very likely to come to light. As you can see by the list above, there is an insane amount of aspects during this lunation. As with most all Full Moons, this is a time of release and renewal. Those of us who are more aware of the aspects will handle these tense issues with care and not allow themselves to fall victim to Plutos power games. Those of you with cardinal placements (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) need to pay extra close attention to this Full Moon, as it's likely you'll blow your top. The emotional eruptions are likened to that of a volcano. This is especially true if you have planets from 18-22 degrees in Aries. Many planets are now moving direct, suggesting the energy is intensifying as the weeks progress. Pluto has woken up after months of a retrograde, alongside a handful of planets now in Scorpio. Emotions run deep and passions hot, likely to make others somewhat jealous, or perhaps controlling.

I suppose this lunation is, in many ways, a continuation of the previous New Moon in Libra. I remember writing to all of you suggesting making peace and politely excusing yourself from anything and everything that wasn't working two weeks ago. There may have been situations where you made up and played nice. You may have perhaps been a pushover for some people and backed down against your better judgment. If this is the case, consider this Full Moon the final push from the universe to end that chapter, just don't expect it to be pleasant. Those of you who took heed of my advice, consider this the conclusion and wrap up of that situation. Some will have a very challenging time letting go and seem as if they're looking for a fight. Those looking to have the last word, think twice. Do not engage. There's a sense of brutality, and finality with this Full Moon. Venus moves into deep intense Scorpio and makes a rare annual opposition to unpredictable Uranus. Expect some reality checks in finances, security, and romance. Secrets are likely to be exposed, and it's expected to be surprising.

The intensity is due to the Sun in Libra, forming a tight T- square to Pluto and the Moon in Aries. Cardinal sign energy is likened to that of a general, or perhaps a judge. When these energies come together, everyone has a way of handling something, and rarely do these signs agree at these angles. Interestingly enough, there is a method to the madness. The Sun in Libra at the heart of this T square indicates the need to seek justice, and find balance. The truth is, not everyone is going to agree on what is right or wrong. People are likely to have some significant blind spots when it comes to their own shortcomings. If you've been in a situation like this, feeling like you're beating a dead horse, it's now time to walk away. This moon is all about removing emotional toxicity. Sometimes one of the most mature ways to handle conflict is understanding that the other party is not capable or mature enough to be fair or respectful. For many, accepting this and backing down will be challenging to do. Consider this an excellent time to take personal responsibility, and acknowledge your role in breaking the pattern.

There's a fine line between being heavy-handed and being assertive. Wield your words and own your power with respect. Don't allow yourself to fall victim to being manipulated into thinking you're not in the right to stand up for yourself.
Though this is one of the heavier and intense Full Moon's of the year, this is meant to lay clear boundaries and open the channels of forging a new path forward. Aries is rarely afraid of a fight, but given the choice, they prefer being a leader. Fearlessness in the face of endings and changes is the only way to forge through. The effects of this Full Moon will linger for several days, and the energy will strike up again in early November when Mars moves into similar squares. Neptune is in beautiful aspect to Mercury at the time of this moon, helping us express emotions and bring attention to those in need. These aspects help us tune in and realize we are all very much connected. Jupiter is highlighted at the time of this moon, shining like a beacon trining and bringing new opportunities in luck and good fortune. Jupiter is always about taking the higher moral ground. Many of you are likely to see that it's rare the universe takes something away without giving us some blessing in its place. The question is, are you willing to let go? Winning battles don't always help us win the war.

Ritualistic Inspirations

Considering this is some intense energy, I highly encourage everyone to be very active with practicing all magical forms of protection or boundary magic. This can be a visualization, such as a white flame meditation, banishing spells, or laying black salt. St. Michael is excellent for this New Moon, so working with swords/ daggers or protective altar tools is highly encouraged.

Creating Black Salt

You will need:
    • 2 parts Sea Salt
    • 1 part smudging soot, such as from your sage wand, burned incense or coal
    • 1 pinch of black pepper
    • smoky quartz or black tourmaline
  • On a full moon, mix in a small bowl mix, the ingredients mentioned above together. Pray to St. Michael for protection over the mixture while mixing. Store in a sealed bottle or jar to keep out humidity. Store in a cool, dry space.
  • The salt may be left on an altar to charge with smokey quartz or black tourmaline until needed. Ideally, black salt is laid around a home or living space. Outside, in front of windows and doors. Surrounding the parameter of the area to protect from negative energies. This is especially helpful to have on hand for deep spiritual cleanings monthly.
