Analysis
This full moon is likely to be quite a significant turning point. We have plenty of planets still sitting in Leo and various other fixed signs. Fixed signs, on the one hand, are sturdy, dependable, and steadfast. On the other, they’re “fixed” in their ways, and stubborn. When we see planets lining up in the skies making these squares, it’s a cosmic push to create pressure to evolve. These energies we’ve seen recently all around the world the past few weeks, from protests in Hong Kong to Revolution happening in Puerto Rico. Here in America there is a strong wave of unification building after a series of tragic gun violence. The people are rising up and protesting together to create change. Aquarius represents groups, associations, and governing political bodies. Authority is going to be questioned, and the standing governing laws will be pressed. Aquarius has no problem challenging the status quo, and often times there is a method to its madness; voicing what’s best for the people. It’s not always pretty, and unfortunately, sometimes it’s complete chaos. This is a full moon that should have many questioning their personal beliefs, and marching to the beat of their own drum.

The Sun and moon debut their monthly opposition crating this eventful full moon. Passion and drama run hot the few days surrounding this lunation. Both Venus and Juno are coupled up with the Sun in Leo. Juno, being the goddess of marriage, partnership, and Jupiters wife, shines bright making way for harmony in associations and flashy love affairs. Mental Mercury returns back to Leo, now working his way out of the shadow of this most recent Mercury retrograde, which makes communication bold and to the point. He will square off with bullish Uranus in Taurus, suggesting not everyone will share the same views at the time of this full moon. This is likely to trigger a series of scientific or spacey new discoveries around the world. Aquarius is all about futuristic, and Uranus in Taurus is about real finds and funding in the pursuit of science!

Our continual outer planet aspects are still in play as previous articles. Jupiter in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces is always encouraging us to be curious and explore new territory as well as spiritual development; just be sure to practice discernment. Saturn is both sextile Neptune in Pisces, and conjunct the south node in Capricorn. This is the continuation of the Plutonian cosmic purge. Secrets and abuses are still very much coming up to the surface. As hard as some may try to conceal the truth, it has a strange way of becoming exposed for the greater good of humanity. This is to sift through all of ’Neptune’s fog and vindicate those in need. The north node trine to Neptune assists all of us on the path to healing, and emotionally cleansing us in the process. Bringing our attention to the emotional body and home base.

Celebrations, parties, and time spent with friends are all excellent ways to utilize the energy of this full moon. Joining new groups for social and environmental causes are supported as well. Surprises are to be expected, especially when it comes to others speaking their mind. Sometimes it takes a small spark of passion to ignite something. Practice unity, accept others, and join a cause you’re passionate about. Many of you will be adamant about sticking with something and taking a stand. There is a great deal of strength in numbers. Use this moon to keep pushing through and further commit to your new direction. Don’t give up!

Ritual for Social Change and Peace

I created this ritual intentionally to help shift the state of our current geopolitical and environmental climate. Please be sure to vocalize my prewritten intention along with your own on the time of the full moon. I have included a Vedic mantra for world peace by Swamiji. Every single person who does this adds a little bit of magic to a more significant cause that can in turn help in the evolution of our world spiritually. Thank you!

You will need:
 Steps:
  • Find a quiet space to perform your ritual.
  • Light a candle, and burn your incense. Meditate quietly imagining a golden glow around your entire body. As you breathe, the golden aura expands several feet all around you.
  • Place The Star card and The Wheel of Fortune infant of you on an altar space. Place clear quartz of any size between the two cards. *Optional; surround this with a ring of sea salt*
  • Take a moment to pray and call on sacred space.
  • Recite the following prayer/ intention:

“Salutations to the Cosmic Self, Lord of our hearts, omniscient and omnipresent, in thy divine presence, I offer my prayer for peace and well-being of humankind and all living beings.

Lead us from unreality to reality.

Lead us from darkness to light.

Lead us from death to immortality.

May everyone be healthy.

May everyone live in peace.

May the wishes of everyone be fulfilled.

May everyone attain perfection.

May there be happiness and prosperity everywhere.

May He bless us and nature with health.

May His blessings free us and lead us to immortality.

OM Peace be in the universe,

Peace be in the atmosphere,

Peace be on earth,

Peace be in the waters,

Peace be in the herbs,

Peace be in the vegetation,

Peace be in the elements,

Peace of the Supreme,

Peace be everywhere,

Peace, only peace,

Peace be in my mind and heart.

Spirit, grant us bliss and liberation.

Bless us with good health, wealth, and harmony.

Save us from negative influences and bad thoughts. My adoration to Thee, divine light.

Spirit, bless all with happiness,

free all from misery, and bestow Thy divine blessing that all may realize eternal Bliss.

OM Peace, Peace, Peace.”

  • Take your pen and paper and write out an intention you have for yourself; personally, that involves friendships, independence, and going your own way. Any intentions you have that include wishes are beneficial as well.
  • Place your intentions underneath the quartz crystal. Let it stay there for however long you may like along with the tarot cards.
  • Finish your meditation, and close sacred space. Thanking all higher beings for being present and assisting in the ritual. Burn ritual offerings of cedar, sweetgrass, or temple incense.
