Goddexx of love, and protector of the world. Recognized as a Solar Deity.
**Notice the term "Goddexx" in placement of "Goddess" to imply a Deity whose gender identity was found as fluid and non-binary. A foreword about addressing the Deities in the Hindu pantheon: The idea of gender as a spectrum may feel new to some, but Hindu literature and mythology has taught of figures who defied the binary. While the reproductive connection between man and woman has always been revered in Hinduism, unlike most Western faiths, this system historically treats homosexuality and gender neutrality as a natural part of life.**
Attributes Vishnu takes many different forms for the large amount of attributes they posses. We most commonly see depictions of Vishnu as having dark blue skin, the color of the sky, denoting their cosmic dimensions and connections with the vedic gods of rain, thunder and their relationship with Earth. They are usually depicted with one face, four arms, usually in in a standing posture or in a resting posture. Their four arms hold sankha (a conch),chakra (discus), gada (mace) and padma (lotus) respectively.

What I love about Vishnu
Personally, I really love that Vishnu, among many of the Hindu deities are perfect representations of the gender fluid, and non-binary identities that I feel connected to within myself. Western culture and modernization has erased for years notions of these ideals, and have constructed walls that block outside thinking, and often make those who fall under the spectrum of gender identities to be weak or fragile, Vishnu, the great and powerful is a perfect symbol and icon for the balance of all these opposites and embodies them with strength, love and power. Making them a perfect Deity amongst many other Queer Goddexx's to be invoked and learned about this month of June aka Pride Month!!

While the experience may seem challenging, it ultimately serves as a chance to heal, reset, and reconnect with our true desires and intentions.
